PAY LESS. USE MORE.
PAY LESS. USE MORE.
Our business model is about selling every single product at full price. It's the only thing that works if we want to ensure that working conditions, wildlife, and the environment in the supply chain are taken care of, while also paying a competitive wage to our employees. Additionally, discounts lead to unnecessary consumption, which creates a larger footprint. Avoiding discounts isn't always as easy as we'd like.Avoiding discounts is not always as easy as we’d like. Sometimes we have B-grade items and samples gathering dust; other times, excess inventory creates financial challenges. The latter is now a reality, so we are reducing the price on select colors of t-shirts, grandpa longsleeves and hoodies in wool and silk, women’s briefs and boxers, and some Zipwear™ pieces until November 24.
BETTER FLEXIBILITY
We have been discussing our thinnest wool garments (wool and silk + Zipwear™) for a long time because we face a challenge with our communication. Our vision is to reduce clothing consumption by encouraging long-term use through regular and proper maintenance, showing that the same garment can be used for everything you do, repairing small holes when needed, and thereby proving that you don’t need to buy new clothes all the time. The dilemma lies in how our communication is perceived by our customers. Thin wool garments are, as some already know, more prone to wear and tear and holes than other types of garments or thicker wool blends. And this is where the challenge lies. Yes, they are delightful, comfortable, and versatile for all sorts of activities, but they don’t last forever and need to be cared for properly. Over time, we have worked with our manufacturers to increase the durability of our thinnest wool garments while aiming to maintain comfort and weight.
This is the second round where we’re selling these products at a reduced price, and it has freed up some capital, giving us better flexibility. Around the New Year, we will receive a batch of products made from slightly thicker material to test if the durability improves while still retaining the obvious benefits of thin wool garments.
Don’t lose yourself to the discounts—buy only what you truly need. Remember, these garments can last for many, many years if you take care of them.
