STAY WARM
When in direct contact with the ground, your body starts to lose heat. With the padding you basically get a heated seat included in your pants. The Padding fits perfectly in The Zipshorts™ Padded and The Longs Padded.
A technical and important element of the padding is that it isn't made of down or similar materials. Insulated garments have many advantages, but a disadvantage is that the insulation effect disappears when you sit on it. The wool felt in this padding won't flatten when you sit on it, and will keep its insulation effect.
LOCAL PRODUCTION
The padding in this product is made with Norwegian wool at Fredriksens Fabrikk in Telemark. Here, wool is turned to felt in a mechanical process without use of water og chemicals. The padding slip is made with leftover materials from FOV in Sweden, and sewn together by Sisters in Business in Asker. Read more about the importance of local production here.
