RECYCLED MATERIALS
The gloves are made from used wool garments collected for recycling. The fibers are separated and spun into new yarn at Filpucci in Italy. The yarn is then sent to Barcelos, Portugal, where Barceltricot Knitwear knits the gloves.
Note: Recycling is good, but we don't claim it to be sustainable. There are certainly emissions involved in the recycling process as well. The most important thing for the environment is that the garments are durable and that you use them for as long as possible. Please take good care of your gloves!
LOST A GLOVE?
Perhaps the main problem with gloves is losing one and having to buy a whole new pair. Not anymore. If that happens to you, stop by our store, and you can buy just one. And who knows—someone might have found your missing glove, too. We've labeled them to make it easier for people to return lost gloves. (see image)
