REPAIRS

We do our best to create long-lasting garments. However, our commitment to durability goes beyond the design process. By taking good care of your clothes and repairing them when necessary, you can maximize the lifespan of your garment and use it for a very long time. Take a look at your repair options below to take the best possible care of your product.

  • 1. YOU REPAIR

The best option all around is for you to take on repairs by yourself. That way, you not only acquire the necessary skills to fix any item in your wardrobe, but also gain complete control over the end result. This hands-on approach fosters a sense of accomplishment, and more importantly, significantly reduces the time required.

With Use More + you also receive:

Instructions on how to repair various types of damage (see below)

Access to repair kits containing all the necessary tools and materials (get in touch below)

Possibility to visit our store in Oslo, where you can receive guidance and borrow equipment like sewing machines

  • 2. WE REPAIR

Included in Use More + are free repairs of 1-2 damages per product*. The number of included repairs is specified at the top of the product page. We recommend saving these repairs for more substantial damages that demand extra sewing expertise. Fixing small holes is easy! (See below)

You have the option to drop off your garment at our store in Oslo, or send it to us by mail. For the latter, please email us a picture and description of the damage, and we'll take it from there.

We also offer repairs on any extra damages beyond the included number at a rate of 350 NOK/h. This charge is only to cover labor and equipment costs.

Warranty repairs are preformed free of charge not matter what, but does not extend to damages resulting from natural wear and tear or self-inflicted damages.

*Applies to all items with date labeling, except socks, underwear and products in the testing phase.

HOW TO FIX ZIPPERS

ZIPPER HARD TO PULL

Is your slider hard or rough to pull on? In that case, do not use force – this may cause more damage. Instead, apply paraffin or wax to the front and back of the zipper. Move the slider up and down slowly until smooth.

FABRIC CAUGHT IN ZIPPER

If a piece of the nearby fabric is caught in the teeth of the zipper or in the slider itself, do not use force – this may cause more damage. Instead, slowly move the slider while pulling the fabric out of the zipper area.
